This
ornamental grass originates from Eastern Asia. In Autumn the leaves turn
a wheat brown colour, then in late winter/early spring cut back to ground
level to stimulate new spring growth.

sun. Well drained, moist, fertile soils.

Origin: Indonesia. This palm will tolerate 1oc but,is best above 10oc.
The new leaves come out with a pink/red colouration that changes to green
in time. It prefers a humid situation and lots of water. Excellent as
a house plant.
